Social Media Marketing Japanese Matcha Video Vignettes

This was a shoot in Uji, Kyoto, Japan for a Vancouver based Matcha Company with sales in many locations across North America & internationally. A great way to elevate your social media marketing is to incorporate video into your posts. You don’t always need long extensive videos to make an impact. Instagram and Facebook are both very visual based platforms. Therefore creating quick video vignettes such as we did for these matcha videos is a great option. In posts for social media such as Instagram or Facebook, it’s been shown users are more likely to stay on a post through their scrolling if it is video vs a picture. The time they spend their attention on video is also increased.

Matcha is a tea powder, finely stone ground to approximately 5 microns so it is able to easily dissolve into your water. They use the traditional Japanese granite stone grinders to ensure they are a very fine powder as well as low processing temperatures for the highest quality of product. You can immediately tell that this matcha is of the utmost quality by the vibrant green coloration of the powder. This is achieved by shading the tea plants for some time before picking. The leaves are picked by hand, only choosing the freshest buds. Uji is actually known to be the birthplace of Japanese matcha. This particular Japanese tea producer has been in the tea business for 300 years and it was an exceptional privilege to get footage.
