LeClair Media Photography Sessions with Cubbi
LeClair Media was glad to have some recent photographhy sessions with with Cubbi , a technology startup here in Saskatoon. The Cubbi is an innovative system to “re-think the workplace fridge“, offering novel multi-unit workplace fridges and an online platform and food ordering system said to rival and improve upon current online delivery options. Therefore we had photograpy & food styling sessions for use on their online platform.
Cubbi has been making some exciting developments relatively recently as quoted by BetaKit:
Internet of Things (IoT) fridge system startup Cubbi (formerly Arctic Shelf) has secured a $1.35 million CAD seed round.
Conexus Venture Capital led the round with additional capital from Jerry Grandey, the former president and CEO of uranium producer Cameco Corporation; Malcolm Leggett, the co-founder of NSC Minerals, and former CN Rail general manager, Jim Newton.
The Cubbi model is based on their internet connected individualized / multi-unit fridge compartments:
The startup also operates a delivery platform, Cubbi Kitchens, which it claims improves food delivery for customers, restaurants, and couriers with its multi-unit fridge design. The fridge design allows for cheaper, high-quality, and contactless food delivery, according to Cubbie.
